You can survive for weeks without food, days without water, but only a few minutes without breathing. The simple act of breathing has a profound and immediate impact on both your mind and body. Each breath—whether inhaling or exhaling—affects your nervous system in unique ways. While many people focus on diet, exercise, and hydration, breath training is often overlooked, despite its significant health benefits.

General Course Structure + Outcomes:
Learn 8 breathing practices during live classes accompanied by additional guidance via pre-recorded video instruction for daily at home practice.
You’ll gain understanding of three techniques along with when and why to use them.
Technique I: Reduced rate breathing can stimulate a rest and digest, parasympathetic nervous system state to help with sleep, stress, and anxiety.
Technique II: Rapid, pulsed breathing stimulates a sympathetic nervous system response to increase energy, prepare for exercise, or boost the body’s natural defenses.
Technique III: Diaphragmatic breathing massages the vagus nerve and reduces heart rate, lowers blood pressure, and reduces stress.

No experience needed—this class is perfect for beginners and those with some practice too.

Each class runs for 30-45 minutes, but it's a good idea to set aside an extra 15 minutes a day to practice. Try spending 5 minutes in the morning, afternoon, and evening to really lock in what you've learned and see the full benefits. Once you get the hang of it, these practices only take a few minutes!

The videos are there to help you refresh the breathing techniques from class - attending all four sessions gives you the experience of learning the techniques fully and the opportunity to ask questions. However, we understand that life can sometimes get in the way. If something comes up, like an emergency or illness, don’t worry—ReBecca will make sure you catch up on anything you missed and stay on track. Private sessions are also an option for anyone who wants more flexibility compared to the schedule of the four group sessions.
